Colson Foster is a young filmmaker from Cincinnati, Ohio, who moved to Chicago, Illinois to pursue his dreams of attending film school. While he has explored the craft of cinematic storytelling since the age of 10, in the last five years he has dived further to release multiple short film productions through Columbia College Chicago as well as with his own equipment and crew, under the name "Charcoal Cinemas". He looks to tell stories that shed light on the human condition, specifically through a gender and queer lens that is often overlooked in the industry.
